ToolKits

This is the place to come to find solutions to your problems. If you wished ProvideX had a feature to do X and it doesn't, and you don't want to spend the days coding that feature yourself, this is the place for you. Review the toolkits that we have available, and then contact us so you can license them for a small fee.

Toast ToolkitToolkits - Toast (Messenger like Popup)

This is a slick little add-on that allows you to display pop-up messages just like Windows and MSN Messenger. These pop-up's are called 'toast' messages due to the way that they pop out of the screen with your information. Check out more information and screen shots here.

Toolkits - Web Integration

Use this collection of objects to integrate with the web seamlessly. From within your programs, you can retrieve static webpages (screen scrape), post data to forms and get the response, and manipulate HTML documents. This is perfect if you need to be exchanging data with a remote partner site (e.g. XML post to retrieve current stock information), or wish to automate a current process (such as checking on the status of current FedEx shipments). Click here for more information, example code, and detailed documentation on the Properties and Functions available in the objects.

Toolkits - Zip

An object that can create zip archives, and extract files from zip archives. Utilizes the Info-Zip tools to allow for royalty free distribution of the underlying algorithims.

Toolkits - Images Database

Tired of having to keep track of paths to images around your network for your logo's, icons, product images, and website? Use this ImagesDB object to store images directly inside of a ProvideX database, and access them using existing commands/mnemonics such as 'PICTURE'. You can use this feature to attach the object, using embedded IO procedures, so fewer code changes are required on your part. Click here for more information.
